What you will do
The Senior Compensation and Equity Plan Manager will report directly to our Head of People and Culture and will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing VEED’s compensation and equity programs.
Support the design, implementation and maintenance of our global compensation and equity plans strategy. Ensure our programs are aligned with VEED values and mission as well as informed by market.
Analyze and interpret relevant market data, and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures, and equity offerings; propose salary increase budgets on a global basis and administer all compensation and equity lifecycle actions (job pricing, equity grants, comp surveys, etc).
Design, implement and administer Sales Incentive Compensation program to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Evaluate existing pay and equity practices while providing recommendations and executing plans for change.
Responsible for annual salary reviews, promotion adjustment reviews and consulting with TA on candidate compensation recommendations.
Assist in preparation of policies and procedures to ensure competitive employee compensation. Maintain a thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations that influence compensation and equity programs in the countries we operate.
Ensure programs are current with regard to relevant market trends, practices and costs.
Support and maintain compensation and equity program administration and tools and vendor relationships, including relevant HRIS management and/or partnerships with external solution providers such as Carta/Capdesk, etc.
Build trusting relationships with Leadership, People & Culture colleagues and employees to develop a deep understanding of the organization’s compensation and equity programs.
Develop comprehensive communications and training materials regarding compensation and equity programs and practices at VEED.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Ops and Compliance, Business Strategy & Ops and other stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Understand VEED business and priorities, and ensure efforts are aligned and support business outcomes.
About you
You have experience in building and administering competitive compensation and equity programs for a technology company and/or start up environment, ideally including experience designing and administering Sales Incentive Programs.
You have experience in market matching job families to industry salary survey data and completing salary surveys on behalf of an organization.
You demonstrate strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a company level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results.
You demonstrate a bias towards action in driving continuous improvement through project and program management.
You possess exceptional stakeholder relationship building, consulting, and influencing capability demonstrated across diverse situations and contexts.
You have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills including statistical analysis and modeling along with experience evaluating and managing online salary management tools.
You work effectively with cross-functional teams, and with all peer and management levels.
You are flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, organized and detail-oriented.
You have thorough understanding of employment law and regulations relating to pay practices
